MERCHANDISE
2nd Chanzi Mobile Hub is dedicated to building lives and creating healthier communities. Operating from poor boroughs in London, the mission aligns with the saying “charity begins at home.” and key aspects of the work involves fundraising efforts proactively to ensure sustainability. They recognize the importance of community support in achieving their goals. The Clothes Online and Accessories Project encourages the community to donate pre-loved clothing, fashion accessories, bric and brac, and unwanted gifts. Collection boxes are strategically placed, and items are cleaned and made available to the public through various marketing outlets. While a physical shop is in the works, currently the charity sells goods online via platforms like eBay, Vinted, and Depop. Transactions for donated items involve small fees, and unsold items are either sent to non-profit organizations abroad or recycled. This community-centric approach takes cognizant that new products can be out of reach due to inflation and unaffordable prices, the charity encourages people to visit the online shop. Every purchase contributes to community projects and the charity accepts decent quality clothing, accessories, shoes, jewellery, books, handbags, DVDs, and bric and brac.
